Education and In-Service Initiatives
Insception's Cord Blood Program is focused on client education. Recognizing the need for both client and clinician specific learning, the company has dedicated clinical consultants that perform onsite lunch & learn sessions and/or one-on-one information consultations aimed at providing a clear understanding of our programs, service offerings, and Industry (Health Canada) regulatory requirements for enrollment, collection, processing etc.
In addition to Insception's significant Research Partnerships with prominent Canadian facilities, the Insception Cord Blood Program welcomes patient cord blood samples from every hospital across Canada.
Insception works closely with clinicians, hospital researchers, and administrators on the collection of both independently banked samples and those that will be used for research.
Sample Collection Across Canada
We have made arrangements for all cord blood units to be safely transported by trained medical couriers.
We understand the considerable decision that is required when choosing a cord blood bank, and that is why Insception works closely with our physician and hospital partners to make the collection process as seamless as possible.
Currently, Insception receives cord blood from hospitals in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and all of the Maritime provinces. Our collection procedure is based on guidelines published by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) and is Health Canada and AABB compliant. We provide step by step collection instructions for both clinician and client partners.
